Work on the new Laclede County 911 communications center continued this week through the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
Laclede County Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst said Thursday that work is on track and the facility is still on track for completion in May of 2024.
“We estimate the project is probably about 30 to 35% complete. The roof is scheduled to be put on within the next two weeks. They’re getting it closed in order to get some temporary heat so the contractors can begin installation of the wiring and HVAC ductwork,” Angst said.
