R-3 to honor Junior High's legacy

Posted

The former junior high school buildings at Washington and Adams streets will be gone soon, but not forgotten.
At this month’s school board meeting, the Lebanon R-3 School District recalled the buildings that have been a place of learning for generations of Lebanon students. In honor of the junior high campus’s Wallace and Rainey buildings, the “legacy of learning” on that city block will be commemorated. A framed picture collage was presented by Assistant Superintendent Dr. Brad Armstrong and will be displayed at the school district’s Central Administration building.
