Ruth Maxine Burkey, 99, of Oklahoma City, Okla., formerly of Marshfield, was born July 24, 1924, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Leslie and Grace (Zimmerman) Frankfurt and died Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is survived by her children, Susan Stone of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Steven Burkey of Cedar Falls, Iowa, two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A private family graveside will be held in the Marshfield Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. of Marshfield.
