In its regular monthly meeting held June 13, the Lebanon R-3 school board discussed finances for the next school year, celebrated its successes in the 2022-23 school year and identified areas for improvement in student performance.
After Logan Prock was celebrated as a difference making teacher, Adam Dameron, chief financial officer for the district, reported on the bidding process for the student-built Building and Trades house up for sale.
“We opened those bids on June 5 and received one bid. We did have an open house back in May and had a lot of traffic and some interest, but when it came down to it, we only received one. The bid was for $100,000 even, which is quite a bit less than what we have in the project,” Dameron said.
