State turns down local marijuana growers

Posted

The Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) has begun the process of issuing 60 licenses for medical marijuana cultivation facilities in the state.
None of the Laclede County applications were accepted, according to the list released on the Missouri Department of Health Senior Services website last Thursday.
Cultivation facilities whose applications are approved will receive email notification of that approval, according to the DHSS.
Once approval notifications have been sent, notifications of application denial will be issued as well. DHSS said that denial notifications will be sent to the individual who created the User Account in the Medical Marijuana Registry Portal.
