Student arrested for threat

Posted

A Conway High School student was taken into custody Sunday night in connection with a threatening social media post.
Laclede County R-1 School Superintendent Mark Hedger said this incident had nothing to do with a student bringing a gun to school a couple of weeks ago.
“It was an isolated unrelated incident,” he said.
According to the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office, the threat was a Snapchat post that included a picture of two Conway students holding what looked like rifles and were later determined to be pellet guns.
