Sun Yi “Ann’’ Funk, 78, of St. Robert, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, in her home in St. Robert.
She is survived by her husband Benedict Funk Jr. of the home in St. Robert; two daughters, Victoria Funk-Diaz (Gilbert) of Centennial, Colo. and Gail Rice of St. Robert; two stepsons, Matthew Stacy Funk (Jo) of Stuart, Iowa and Benedict Arnold Funk III (Chris) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; four grandchildren, Tanaysa Rice, Giahnna Rice, Makaila Diaz and Kailsie Diaz; two sisters-in-law, Agnes Faire (Albert) of Colgate, Okla. and Margaret Krause of St. Robert; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, in the Hampton Inn at 103 St. Robert Plaza Drive in St. Robert. Memorial contributions in memory of Sun Yi “Ann’’ Funk may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and may be left at the funeral home.
