Posted

Three candidates are on the ballot for Lebanon City Council Ward 2. They are incumbent Sheila Mitchell, Dax Cogdill and Jeramy Vinson.
The candidates were asked to fill out a questionnaire.

Dax G. Cogdill

What are your qualifications? I’m a lifelong resident who has deep family roots in Laclede and Wright Counties. I also worked for the City in the Public Works Department for nearly 11 years. I possess a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration.
Why are you running for this office? I served my Community when I worked within Public Works and I now serve my Nation at Fort Leonard Wood supporting our armed service members. I would like the opportunity to serve my Community again, just in a different capacity. I believe it is my civic duty to contribute where I can.

Sheila Mitchell

I am honored to have served as councilwoman for 6 years and bring proven leadership to the position. I am one of three current council members who have the distinction of being a Certified Municipal Official having completed 12 hours of study in budgets, planning and zoning, ethics, economic development and many other pertinent subjects to be the best Council person I can be.

Jeramy Vinson

What are your qualifications? I have years of leadership experience and dealing with the public.
