A truck driver had to be flown to Springfield for treatment after a wreck on Interstate 44 Sunday.
Two people were injured in a 2:25 p.m. wreck Sunday on Interstate 44 at the westbound 142.6 mile marker.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred when Roland Matarazzo, 53, of Clearwater, Fla., was stopped on the shoulder and a westbound 2020 International driven by Lamarian K. Gates, 42, of East St. Louis, Ill., drove onto the shoulder and struck the parked Kenworth.
