Two candidates seek votes in Ward 3

Posted

Two candidates are seeking the ward 3 council seat, the current council member is opposed by a former Lebanon mayor.
The candidates were sent a questionnaire and provided the following responses.

LeAnn Mather

The most important qualification I have is the leadership, knowledge, and experience I have gained in the past 6 years on council, and also from 10 years on the Lebanon Park Board, where I served many years as president. While on council, my peers chose me to be Mayor Pro Tem and chair the Personnel Board for 3 terms. I also obtained an Elected Official certification from the Missouri Municipal League, where I attended seminars and completed self-study and testing on topics such as policymaking, legislation, ethics, and economic development that are pertinent to governmental leadership positions. Other items I think speak to my leadership abilities and qualifications include chairing the Lebanon All-Sports Booster Club for over 10 years, serving as a Lebanon Ambassador, membership of the Lebanon Rotary Club, PEO, and First United Methodist Church.
