William Grant “Bill’’ Holmes Jr., 58, of Rolla, a United States Navy veteran, died Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in the Silverstone Place of Rolla
He is survived his mother, Rose M. Diaz of Plato; stepfather, Mike Diaz of Plato; two children, Jesse Holmes (Brandon Page) of Independence and Elizabeth Holmes of Rolla; two sisters, Lisa Holmes of Jefferson City, and Kimberly Winkleman of Jefferson City; other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, in the Soldiers Memorial Chapel of Fort Leonard Wood. Burial with military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville.
Rosary will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, in the Soldiers Memorial Chapel of Fort Leonard Wood.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bill Holmes and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
