The Lebanon Family YMCA’s big fundraiser of the year is coming.
The third annual Chili Cook-off and Auction is from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday.
YMCA Executive Director Brandi Prock said the event will help families and individuals who are in need of financial assistance.
The funds will provide funding for children to learn to swim, play basketball or give them a safe place to go after school at Esther Elementary.
“It’s part of a fundraising campaign to help anybody who can’t afford the YMCA,” Prock said. “It’s for seniors who are on fixed incomes, children and single parent households who need child care, anybody.”
