City budget discussed at council work session

Traffic flow, improved code enforcement and maintaining city streets and buildings are among the priorities to be addressed in the City of Lebanon’s 2023 budget. The Lebanon City Council received a report on the proposed spending for the next fiscal year from Finance Director Kat Gill at a meeting Thursday night. The city ’s plans for the street fund include 6.8 miles of overlay. Other plans are reconstruction of Kansas Avenue, and street intersection improvements at Fourth and Jefferson and engineering for Jefferson and Fremont. For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
