Amelia “Amy’’ Lynne Hinshaw, 43, of Stoutland, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, in her home.

She was born Oct. 23, 1978, in Springfield, Mo. to David Lynn and Annette (Lytell) Hinshaw.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, David Hinshaw; grandmothers Gayle Hinshaw and Emilie Henson; grandfathers Buck Hinshaw and Drury Henson; and numerous aunts and uncles.

She was an administrative assistant to Matt Sutcliffe at Premier Pyrotechnics, Inc. and worked with their business in Missouri and Oklahoma. For many years, Amy was a substitute teacher at Stoutland, Laquey and Waynesville schools. She lived her entire life in the Stoutland community, graduating in 1997 from Stoutland High School, and pursued her education with an associate’s degree from Rolla Metro College.

Amy was baptized at an early age and attended Stoutland United Methodist Church and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Emilie Hinshaw; her mother, Annette Hinshaw; two brothers, James Cornelison and Adam Henson; one sister, Amanda Hinshaw; aunts, Vicki Neal, Janie Marshall, Linda Harkness, Betty Rupard, Margaret Lytell; nieces Emma Jo and Ella Alisse Cornelison and Molly Claire and Aubrey Nicole Henson; and nephew Dylan Rupard.

Funeral services for Amelia “Amy’’ Lynne Hinshaw will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, at Eureka Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric Shaw officiating. Burial will be in the Dowdy Cemetery, under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors of Jefferson City, Mo. Friends will be received from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at Eureka Baptist Church, 33497 Hwy. FF, Richland. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Amy Hinshaw.
