Barbara Ann Ellzey, 73, of Waynesville, was born July 29, 1951, in Carthage to Lee William and Alberta Maxine (Goudy) Lucas and died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, in Carthage.
She is survived by one son, Wesley Alvin Ellzey and his wife Laura of Richland; two daughters, T.J. Sisco and her husband Dale of Lebanon and Rose Becker and her husband Howard of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Larry Lucas of Carthage and David Lucas of Joplin; three sisters, Ruth Ellen Lucas of Joplin, Carol Sue Eckart and her husband Steve of Versailles and Sharon Kay Vaught and her husband Calvin of Carthage; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Chris Hendrix officiating. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Fort Leonard Wood. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until service time, also on Thursday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
