Betty Jean Barker, 67, of Lebanon, died Saturday, June 4, 2022, in Lebanon.

She was born Aug. 11, 1954, in Lebanon, Mo. to Johnny and Bonnie Terry Porter.

On Dec. 14, 1972, she was united in marriage to Everett Barker Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Everett Barker Sr., and three siblings, Butch Guffey, Connie Jones and James Porter.

Betty was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed camping and was very crafty. She also enjoyed crocheting. She was particular about her yard and loved mowing. However, time with her family and friends is what she treasured the most. She especially enjoyed family barbecues on the 4th of July.

Survivors include one son, Everett L. Barker Jr. “Leon”, and his children, Anna and Allie Barker of Lebanon; one daughter, Natasha Norris (Chuck) and their son, Jesse Barker of Lebanon; grandchildren, Kassandra Fuhrer (Dustin) and their child Kayde, and Krystne Barker; two siblings, Terry Wescott (John) of the state of Wisconsin and Danny Porter of the state of Oregon; friend and chosen granddaughter, Amanda Robbins (Nathan Cartwright) and their children, Abriannah, Caleb and Loveena; and other relatives.

A Celebration of Life for Betty Jean Barker will be held at a later date. Her body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Sign guest book at www.shadelscolonialchapel.com.
