Betty Joan Ruble

Betty Joan Ruble, 84, of Lebanon, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2024, in Lebanon.

She was born Dec. 10, 1939, in Lebanon, Mo. to Anderson Forrest and Gladys Romane Pine Griffin.

On Feb. 16, 1955, she was united in marriage to Edward Ruble.

Those preceding her in death include her parents; her husband Edward, who passed away March 23, 2021, a son-in-law, Jeff Poole and by her brother, Lee Griffin and his wife Bonnie.

Betty attended school in Lebanon. She was employed with Lebanon R-III Schools for nearly forty years as the Food Director.

She supported her husband Edward “Red’’ Ruble’s Ministry for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Terry Ruble and his wife Wendy of Montreal and Teddy Ruble and his wife Vanessa of Lebanon; two daughters, Theresa Kinsley and her husband Harvey and Tracy Poole, both of Lebanon; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother-in-law, Nathan Ruble of Lebanon; sisters-in-law, Marcella Ruble of Neosho, Opal Plummer of Lebanon and Jolene Pruitt and her husband John of Richland; other relatives and many dear neighbors and friends.

Funeral services for Betty Ruble will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Scotty Myers officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery. Visitation for Betty will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024, until service time at 11 a.m. at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
