Lebanon boys’ head basketball coach Ryan Toombs announced on social media Monday afternoon that the program had named Bob Boatwright as the new boys’ freshmen basketball coach.
Boatwright spent the past two years teaching eighth grade math at Lebanon Middle School after retiring from LHS as a counselor for 18 years.
His coaching experience includes 13 years at Stoutland High School where he was in charge of junior high, junior varsity boys’ basketball and varsity baseball.
He was a Student Assistant with the Central Missouri Mules during their 1984 NCAA Division II National Championship season.
“Most importantly he is a good man who will be good for our kids,” Toombs mentioned. “He will impact our program in a positive way.”
