Brenda Lee Lowery, 62, of Lebanon, died Thursday, June 16, 2022, at. her home.

She was born Aug. 17, 1959, in Houston, Mo. to Leo Harold and Ruthie Alice Williams Shetler.

On Aug. 2, 1990, she was united in marriage to Wallace Lowery, and they shared 31 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Alice Bax Shetler; and a niece, Loretta Shetler.

Brenda was raised in St. Charles, Mo., and then moved with her family to Lebanon when she was 12 years old. She graduated from Stoutland High School and then earned her Associates Degree in Psychology from Drury University in Fort Leonard Wood. After she and Wallace were married, they made their home near Lebanon. She worked for Copeland Corporation, which is now Emerson Electric for 22 years.

She was an active member of Sleeper United Methodist Church, volunteer teacher’s aide for Lebanon Head Start, and an avid Betty Boop collector. She was an active member of the Sleeper Fire Department Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband Wallace Lowery of the home; a sister, Norma Jean Huntley of Lebanon; a brother, Sherman Shetler of the state of Arkansas; several nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Brenda Lee Lowery will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022, in the Sleeper United Methodist Church in Sleeper. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until service time at Sleeper United Methodist Church. A memorial has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
