Chester Everett Payne, 80 of Warrensburg, Mo., a United States Navy veteran, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025, in the North Kansas City Hospital of North Kansas City, Mo.
He is survived by companion: Linda Short of Warrensburg, Mo. and her children: Kevin and Becky; sister: Laura Jones of Laquey, Mo.; brother: Bob M. Payne (Glenda) of Lebanon, Mo.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
