Posted

Christopher Roger Dinwiddie was born May 6, 1970, in Lebanon, MO, to Donnie and Jessie (Perryman) Dinwiddie. He departed this life Sunday, March 2, 2025 in his home at the age of fifty-four years, nine months and twenty-seven days. He attended school in Conway where he lived most of his life.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Donnie; and a sister, Sheila Huntington.

Chris is survived by his wife, Rebecca, of the home; a daughter, Hannah Dugger and Sheldon of Conway, Missouri; Russell Dinwiddie and wife Casey, Christian Dinwiddie and wife Samantha, all of Lebanon, Missouri; Carter Dinwiddie of Springfield, Missouri; Kelsay Dunbar and husband Alex of Mansfield, Missouri; Heath Dugger and wife Hannah of Ozark, Missouri; Sarah Downs and husband Hunter, of Ava, Missouri; his grandchildren, Shelbie, Braxton, Cadence, Kayson, Callum, Braelyn, Natalie, Lane, Violet, Ava, Harper, Duke, Graydon, Kaylyn, Emma, Hunter, Lextin, Raeleigh, Renley and Luca; his mother Jessie Dinwiddie of Conway, Missouri; a brother, Jay Dee Dinwiddie; his sisters, Teresa Ramshur and husband Donald, Marcia Dinwiddie and Tammy Dinwiddie; his bonus dad, Larry Zeolia and wife Kathy; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.

Chris drove a semi for a few years and traveled to 46 states including Alaska. After he began his career with the Independent Stave Company, Chris obtained his GED and graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He enjoyed building and designing equipment and installing the equipment in Lebanon and other ISC locations.

His sons were his life. Chris went above and beyond raising them and trying to teach them life skills, how to have fun and showed them what the love of a father was.

In 2014, he married Rebecca Oliver-Dugger and found out what it was like to have 3 daughters in his life, along with a US Marine, as a son. Chris did everything possible to be a wonderful dad to them and loved them as his own. He was a wonderful husband and loved making Rebecca laugh and getting the “Are you serious” look and then the reply, “Really? You’re such a dork!”

Chris loved his Bennett Spring church family and enjoyed helping in the church, as his health allowed. The love from the church was so special to him, along with each and every person.

In his spare time, Chris loved rebuilding cars, motorcycles and anything else he could redesign. Riding motorcycles was a favorite pastime of his.

Chris was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends.
