Clay Thompson, 52, of Mansfield, was born Jan. 7, 1973, in Rockford, Ill. to Gerald “Jesse’’ and Lavouna (Thrasher) Thompson and died Monday, May 5, 2025, at his home.
He is survived by his wife Amanda Thompson; a daughter, Breanna Robbins and her husband Josh; a son, Gavin Dunn and fiance, Paige Beggs; his parents, Jesse and Lavouna Thompson; two brothers, Clint Thompson and his wife Darlene, and Andy Williams and his wife Barb; two sisters, Deana Borders and her husband James, and Lorie Jordan; three grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Sheri Stofer and her husband Jeff.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Mansfield First Assembly of God Church in Mansfield. Burial will be in.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. before service, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mansfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mansfield First Assembly of God kids and youth camp scholarships.
