County 911 director appointed

James Falls has 17 years experience in emergency services

The Laclede County Commission on Friday announced the appointment of James Falls as the new 911 Director for Laclede County Emergency Communications. The commission said the decision follows a thorough selection process conducted by the 911 Advisory Board, which included multiple interviews with candidates. Falls is a retired Major in the United States Army, and has has dedicated more than 17 years to law enforcement and emergency services. During his military career, Falls was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, where he earned a Bronze Star for his service. His expertise includes serving as the Director of Emergency Services and a Law Enforcement Supervisor at Fort Leavenworth, where he managed critical operations, including an Emergency 911 Center.
