The Laclede County Commission approved a resolution Tuesday on a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a combined emergency dispatch between the City of Lebanon and the county. The county’s M.O.U. will go into effect once the city of Lebanon passes a counterpart M.O.U.
The county’s M.O.U. would establish a new county department under the authority of the Laclede County Commission and which would handle dispatches for the Lebanon Police Department in addition to those already under its authority, such as the Lebanon Fire Department and the Sheriff’s Office.
