The Laclede County Commission reviewed Agriconomy Week and continued planning the Oct. 24 open house of the county’s emergency call center during Tuesday’s meeting.
With no minutes to approve and no CDT applications to consider, the commission reviewed last week’s Agriconomy Week, which was a collaboration between MU Extension and the county to highlight the community’s agribusiness.
“I personally thank Dr. Ashley Brown for her leadership in that,” Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst said, praising the event. Western Commissioner Darrell Pollock and Eastern Commissioner David Layman also praised the week, with Layman highlighting the impact agribusiness has on the county.
