DONALD DEE “DON’’ WEAVER

Donald Dee “Don’’ Weaver, 91, of Lebanon, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2022, in Osage Beach.

He was born Jan. 13, 1931, in Niangua, Mo. to Monroe and Brooxie Lea McClanahan Weaver.

On Feb. 4, 1951, he was united in marriage to Armeta M. Sharp.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Johnny Weaver in infancy and Gary Dale Weaver, who died on April 21, 2013; a brother, Darrell Weaver, and a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Weaver.

Don graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1949. Following graduation, he entered the United States Navy on Aug. 31, 1951, and proudly served our country until his honorable discharge on Aug. 5, 1955. In 1956, he and his wife Armeta, opened and operated Don’s Office Machines and they worked side by side for the next 22 years, until her sudden passing on July 17, 1994.

Don was a longtime, active and faithful member of Second Baptist Church, serving in many capacities throughout the years.

He is survived by one son, Rick Weaver and his wife Teri of Camdenton; six grandchildren, Andrew Weaver and his wife Rachael, Micah Weaver and his wife Krista, Nathan Weaver and his wife Crystal, Jessica Daugherty and her husband Kyle, Sarah Becker and her husband Jeffrey and Brandon Weaver and Alyson Dumolt; nine great-grandchildren, Isaac, Brooxie, Tai and Aidyn Weaver, David, Caroline and Timmy Becker and Kylee and Raecelyn Daugherty; his brother, Bob Weaver of Lebanon; daughter-in-law, Peggy Weaver of Rolla; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and his church family and many dear friends.    

Funeral services for Donald Lee “Don’’ Weaver will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastors Bill Garrett and Roger Marshall officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. also on Friday until service time at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
