Donald K. Strickland, 82, of Nixa, formerly of Lebanon, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021, in Springfield.
He was born July 27, 1939, in Buffalo, Mo. to Donald E. Strickland and Georgia Rose King, who preceded him in death.
Donald was married on Dec. 20, 1959.
He was a banker in the loan department.
Donald was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Strickland; one son, D.K Strickland of Cordova, Tenn.; one daughter, Angie Allen of Springfield; one brother, Keith Strickland (Polly) of Lebanon; three sisters, Jan Fisk (Joe) of Springfield; Dixie Bibbee (Larry) of Decatur, Ala.; Sharon Adomeit of Pepperell, Mass.; two grandchildren, Hunter Allen, and Lauren Jackson (Matt); one great-grandchild Adaline Jackson, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Donald K. Strickland will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2021, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Greg Turner officiating. There is no scheduled burial. He is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
