Lebanon Mayor Jared Carr on Tuesday issued a burn ban for the City of Lebanon due to ongoing dry conditions. The ban will remain in place until conditions improve and it is safe to lift, the city said in a press release.
Despite a light shower Thursday night, the dry conditions were expected to continue into next week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Springfield.
