Ernest Lee Raney, 92, of Norwood, was born Dec. 9, 1931, in Tulare, Calif. to Alva Raney and Jewell (Hayes) Suppes and died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Ark.
He is survived by one son, Alvin Raney; two daughters, Sharon Beresford and her husband Robert, and Myra Raney; one stepson, Greg Bradshaw and his wife Jeanee; one sister, Ruby Snavely; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery near Norwood. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
