EVELYN DELCOUR McCLANAHAN

Evelyn Delcour McClanahan, 88, of Hartville, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021.

She was born March 27, 1933, in Wright County, Mo. to Eugene Warren “Bud’’ and Hannah Francis (Buttram) Stanley.

In 1951 she married Wayne Long, who preceded her in death in 1951. On May 22, 1953, she married Howard “Dale’’ Delcour, who preceded her in death in 1986. On July 7, 1995, she married Joe McClanahan, who preceded her in death in 2001. Also preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, Janet Lawson; a granddaughter, Kimberly Goldsmith; a great-grandson, James Johnson; three brothers, Warren, Bill and David Stanley; two sisters, Louise Wiseman and June Ray; two daughters-in-law, Brenda and Mary Delcour; three sons-in-law, Roger Pearce, Richard Lawson and Jerry Goldsmith.

Prior to her retirement Evelyn worked for H.D. Lee in Hartville and Lebanon.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Delcour and his wife Pam of Falcon; Jeff Delcour and his wife Leann of Lebanon; Joann Bryson and Joyce Long and her husband Roger, all of Hartville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leon Stanley of Seymour and Gene Stanley and his wife Jackie of Conway; three sisters, Judy Craighead of Texas; Sue Lansdown of Hartville, and Faye Anderson and her husband Jim of Utah; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and burial for Evelyn Delcour McClanahan will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at Shaddy Cemetery near Grovespring under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove.
