Posted

The MFA-Producers Creamery Company Dairy Plant is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The property has also been known as the Mid-Am Dairy Plant.
According to the National Park’s Service’s website on the Register, the Register is the “official list of the Nation’s historic places worthy of preservation” and is part of a larger program that organizes and supports efforts to document, assess and protect the nation’s historic and archeological resources.
The plant originally opened in 1949 and shut down in the 1990s. In 2023, it became the home of the Ice Cream Factory.
