Frankie Wayne Young, 85, of Marshfield, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, in Mercy Hospital Springfield.

He was born July 15, 1936, in Conway, Mo. to Frank and Reba Lorene (Stevens) Young.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers David Young and Farrel Davis; and son-in-law, Judd Suckla.

In 1959 he married Judy Carlson.

Always an entrepreneur, Wayne enjoyed careers in farming, owning Niangua Feed & Seed, truck driving, and local cattle hauling. His last venture was owner and operator of H&M Loans, which he retired from in 2007.

He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home; his children, Tasha Tranbarger (Marty) of Shawnee, Kan.; Terri Westerman (Joe) of Englewood, Colo.; Tanya Zukel (Don Poje) of Shawnee, Kan.; Curtis Young of Ozark; Kara Linch (Jeremy) of Cortez, Colo.; Gary Don Letterman (Sandy) of Niangua; Elaine Kindall (Kelsey) of Fordland, and Allen Letterman (Cheryl) (Kelsey) of Fordland, and Alan Letterman (Cheryl) of Marshfield; 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Ivey (Harvey) of Springfield, and Veleta Smith (Ron) of Marshfield; three sisters-in-law, Erma Davis, June Young and Deanna Smith; brother-in-law, Robert Cantrell; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
