Frederick Charles “Fred’’ Klarr, 49, of Grovespring, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, in Springfield.

He was born Oct. 27, 1972, in Chicago, Ill. to Frederick and Georgeann Vlchek Klarr.

Fred was preceded in death by his father, Fred Klarr.

On April 25, 1996, he married Michelle Jean Griffin.

He was employed with G3 Boats for almost six years. Fred enjoyed spending time with his grandson John and his other family members. He also enjoyed going on motorcycle rides with his brother Kenneth, watching movies and listening to all types of music.

Fred is survived by his wife, Michelle Klarr; one son, Eric Klarr of Grovespring; a daughter, Samantha “Sam” Jones and her husband Terry of Hartville; an adopted son, Ross Littlebear and his wife Amber of Lebanon; his mother, Georgeann Koral of the state of Wisconsin; his brother, Kenneth Klarr and his wife Gina of Hartville; two sisters, Renee Randolph and her husband Eric of the state of Texas and Michelle “Shelby” Howe and her husband Danny Howe, Jr. of Eldridge; other siblings from out of state; a grandson, John Klarr (Ailia Lancaster); several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Frederick Charles “Fred’’ Klarr will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Carolyn Daniels officiating, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m., prior to services at 6 p.m. also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Memorials have been suggested in memory of Fred to the American Cancer Society or to New Hope Church.
