Arriving at Friday’s Central Meet to secure baseline times, the Lebanon girls swim team raced personal bests, according to head coach David Krev.
The 200-meter medley relay of junior Missy Mizell, Lucy Hough, freshman Evelyn Martin and Addyson McKnight took sixth place by six seconds (2:01.12).
Mizell, captured first place in the 200-meter freestyle (2:01.12), 5 swim seconds ahead of the state qualification. She also finished first in the 100-meter butterfly in 1:02.99, which places her for state consideration and is a personal best.
Mizell swam 57.29 seconds in the 100-meter freestyle in the lead off leg of the 400-meter freestyle relay, which is also a state consideration time. Statewide, she stands 8th in the 200-meter freestyle, 7th in 100-meter butterfly and 4th in the 100-meter freestyle.
