HB3020 includes $5 million in funding for the Jordan Valley Community Health Center Clinic and Lebanon R-3 Early Childhood Center scheduled to open in 2023 in the Robert W. Plaster Center for Student Success.

[LEBANON, MO] – Jordan Valley Community Health Center (JVCHC) and the Lebanon R-3 School District are hosting a bill signing ceremony with Governor Mike Parson for Missouri House Bill 3020 on Wednesday, July 20th. This bill, among other funding initiatives, provides $2.5 million to each organization to help build a new collaboration between JVCHC and the Lebanon R-3 School District.

Infill construction for the two spaces in the Robert W. Plaster Center for Student Success is scheduled to begin in January 2023 and will feature a JVCHC clinic and Lebanon R-3 Early Education Center. The partnership allows children to receive their routine care such as well-child medical visits, dental exams, occupational, speech and physical therapy, vision exams and behavioral health needs at school.

“We look forward to serving our youngest neighbors and their families through this project with the Lebanon School District; it’s a perfect fit for our mission to improve the health of our community through access and relationships,” said K. Brooks Miller, JVCHC CEO.

Projected completion of the construction project is August 2023.
