Highway 5 rivalry matchup set for Friday

If you haven’t heard, the Lebanon Yellowjackets will play host to the Camdenton Lakers in the Class 5 District 5 semifinal at 7 p.m. this Friday. The Yellowjackets enter the game as the No. 1 seed in the district playoffs. On October 8, Lebanon defeated the Lakers by a score of 33-14 at ‘Jacket Stadium. As many know, beating a good team once can be challenging, but beating a good team that happens to be your rival twice in one month takes things to a whole new level. Camdenton (No. 4 seed) defeated Central (No. 5 seed) last Friday night at Bob Shore Stadium, 34-18. For more on this story see Wednesday's LCR.
