IVAZINE GRACE BUTTRAM

Ivazine Grace Hicks Buttram, 94, of Niangua, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022.

She was born April 4, 1927, to Elmer and Ada Pearl Evans Hicks.

On May 11, 1949, she married Dawson Buttram.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dawson; eight brothers, Lloyd, Racie, Norman, Earl, Freddie, Archie, Hershal, and William; two sisters, Hershie Williams and twin sister Maxine Buttram.

Ivazine worked side by side with her husband Dawson tending to the cattle.

She was saved at a revival in her younger days and loved attending church.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Sue Hammons and her husband Jim of Niangua; Donnetta Kay Sharp and husband Jim of Niangua; Donetta Kay Sharp and husband John of Niangua; two grandchildren, Lisa Hammons and husband James (Tiny), Ryan Jay Sharp all of Niangua; two great-grandchildren, Kalee Jo Prock and husband Logan, Cody Hammons and wife Grace; one great-great-grandchild, Waylon Prock; also one brother, Arlin Hicks of Silvis, Ill.

Funeral services for Ivazine Grace Buttram was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. in Marshfield. Burial was in Little Vine Cemetery near Grovespring.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Little Vine Cemetery and left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, Mo. 65706.
