‘Jackets beat out Kickapoo Chiefs in second season win

kets took their second victory of the season against the Kickapoo Chiefs on Tuesday, winning 7-2. The junior varsity team also won 9-2.
Coach Ron Crowell reported a “great” team win in an email, where he provided the results of each match as well as highlighted several players.
“Conor McGruder was outstanding,” Crowell wrote, “And he played great tennis in winning a very close 8-6 match in singles. He played very well especially at the end of the match when it mattered the most.”
“Kasey and Josh were both dominant in singles and doubles, as were Teigan and Denver and they continue to improve,” Crowell continued.
Note: in doubles results, two listed scores indicate the individual scores in listed name order. One listed score in listed doubles means the two players’ scores are identical.

Ethan Fisher lost against Joseph Coder 0-8. Conor McGruder won against Cody Chaffin 8-6. Kasey Hicks won against Spencer Musil 8-1. Josh Rogers won against Hunter Maggard 8-4. Denver Woodruff won against Cooper Langston 8-2. Teigan Vance won against Brandon Kwon 8-2.
Doubles
Fisher and McGruder lost against Coder and Chaffin 2-8. Hicks and Rogers won against Musil and Maggard 8-1. Woodruff and Vance won against Langston and Kwon 8-3.
