Jackie Dean Anglen, 71, of Lebanon, died Sunday, May 29, 2022, in Lebanon.

He was born May 9, 1951, in Lebanon, Mo. to Lester and Pauline Dismang Anglen, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Waters, and one granddaughter, Emylee.

Jack was a taxi driver for many years in the Lebanon area. He mostly enjoyed going to Branson to see the “Grand Ole Ladies of the Grand Ole Opry.’’ He and Randall would sometimes go twice a week to see the show, enough that the performers knew who they were and would call to them from the stage. He lived for the county fair, and that always was a highlight of the year for him.

He is survived by his partner of 31 years, Randall Coffman of the home; children, Chad Anglen and his wife Dawn of Springfield; Les Anglen and wife Jennifer of Buffalo, and Lisa Engel and husband David of Nixa; grandchildren, Ashley, David, Tyler, Alyson, Natalie, Abygale and Samuel; great-grandchildren, Adelynn and Jason; brother, Howard Anglen and wife Cindy of Long Lane; sisters, Viola Blankenship and Vickie Wilson and husband Lonnie, all of Lebanon; other relatives and many friends.

A graveside service and burial for Jackie Dean Anglen will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the Atchley Blackfoot Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for the family for expenses. Donations may be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, 1001 Lynn or P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, MO. 65536.
