JAG program helps students overcome barriers to success in school and life

Posted

A presentation on how the JAG program at Hillcrest School helps students achieve success was the topic for Thursday’s Lebanon Rotary Club luncheon.
Brandon Johnson, the guest speaker, serves as a JAG specialist at Hillcrest Education Center and JAG-Missouri Alternative Program Manager.
JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people with the skills.
“JAG is basically a program for our at-risk youth to help them work through all the barriers they might have to be successful in school, and not just in school but after graduation,” Johnson said.”That’s what sets JAG apart from most programs. It’s very unique.”
