James Wyatt Tuning, 75, of Springfield, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, at his home.
He was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Lawrence, Kan. to Stanley and Bessie (Sherman) Tuning.
James married Georgia McCoy and they were married for 55 years. To this union six children were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter-in-law, Carol Tuning; a son-in-law, Ben Mace; and a brother, Charles Tuning.
James enjoyed collecting things, spending time with his family, and loved his dogs, Lady and Trixie.
He is survived by his wife Georgia of Springfield; four sons, Richard Tuning of Springfield; James Tuning and his wife April of Buffalo; Jason Tuning of Springfield, and Micheal Tuning of Louisburg; two daughters, Cynthia Tuning of Pomme De Terre Lake, Mo. and Judy Shay and her husband David of Buffalo; one brother, David Tuning and his wife Candy of Florida; two sisters, Barbara Ingerly of Long Lane, and Susan Ann Beheler of Texas; 25 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorial visitation for James Wyatt Tuning will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
