Jean Carol Hobson, 81, of Marshfield, was born Jan. 6, 1943, at Niangua to Avis (Barker) and Leamon Davis and died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024.
She is survived by three children, Jennifer (Richard) Tag, Elizabeth (Edwin) Lehmann, and Joe (Susan) Hobson; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bobbi Sue (Don) Day, Judy Bertoldie, and Sharon (Bill) Chittim.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marshfield with the Rev. Edwin Lehmann officiating. Burial was in Marshfield Cemetery under the direction of Day Funeral Home of Marshfield. Memorials may be given to Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church — Good Samaritan Fund, assisting local people in their needs or Happy Home Cemetery near Conway. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
