Jeff Cordis Evans, 61, of Richland, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, in his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Cordis Evans and Crystal Leen (Atkinson) Evans; sister, Sarah Evans; brother, Dennis Lee Evans; niece, Amy (Evans) Peters in 2022.
He is survived by two brothers, Dennis Evans (Linda) of Richland and Donnie Evans (Junie) of Hickman, Ky.; his aunt, Sonja Evans of Richland; three nieces, Lisa Jennings (Shane), Jessica Stainaker, and Summer Rose Evans, all of Richland; his nephew-in-law, Bobby Peters of Marshfield; one great nephew, Evan Evans of Marshfield; one great niece, Jasmine Hedges of Richland; one great-great niece, Akalya Evans of Richland; cousins, Benny Stevens, Julie Rowe, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Jeff Cordis Evans will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, in the First Baptist Church of Richland. Jeff’s family will lay him to rest at home on Poverty Mountain, Richand, under the direction of Memorial Chapel of Richland.
