John Edward Laurie, 78, of Buffalo, died Tuesday, March 15, 2022, in Buffalo.
He was born Jan. 16, 1944, to Charlie Otis Laurie and Dorothy Susan Laurie.
John was preceded in by his parents, and one brother, Joseph Charles Laurie.
He served six years in the United States Army Reserve in Springfield and worked as a farm hand for Doyle and Carol Nimmo for over 30 years. John was active in the Annual Celtic Festival held in Buffalo. He was somewhat of a cowboy enjoying working cattle, hunting and music. He enjoyed collecting firearms and was considered a marksman.
Funeral services for John Edward Laurie were held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo.
