John Francis Scott, 78, of St. Robert, was born Dec. 7, 1946, to Elmer D. and Genevieve Angeline (Watson) Scott and died Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
He is survived by his wife Jamie of the home; a son, John Michael McGovern; a daughter, Francine Morgan; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mary Scott Norris.
Funeral services with military honors were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville, under the direction of Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Dixon.
