Kinneth Zeornes

Kinneth Zeornes was born July 28, 1939 in Coffey, Missouri to Bea Kenneth and Mildred Lucille Channy Zeornes. He passed away in his home in California, Missouri on February 28, 2025. He was eighty-five years and seven months of age.

Kinneth was raised in the Kansas City area where he completed his schooling. Following graduation, Kinneth joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served in Africa as a firefighter. He loved his country very much and was a patriotic man.

Following his time with the Air Force, Kinneth returned home where he worked in factories for a few years before establishing his career as a truck driver. He drove for over thirty years before retiring from this occupation.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Zeornes and his wife Tonya of California, Missouri and Kerry Zeornes and his wife Karol of Tunas, Missouri; his grandchildren, Destiny Richardson and her husband Daniel, Tara Zeornes and her companion Jamie Felder, Melissa Mahan and her husband Kevin, Jennifer Myres and her husband Tony, Brandy Zeornes and Rusti Weaver and her husband Josh; twenty-seven great-grandchildren with another on the way; and his sister, Elesha Dudley.

Kinneth loved being in the great outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He will be remembered for his warmth and kindness. His absence will be deeply felt by his family, friends and the many people he touched throughout his life.

Graveside services for Kinneth Zeornes were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025, at Flatwoods Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
