Lady ‘Jackets fight against El Dorado Bulldogs in Pink and White basketball opener

The Lady Yellowjackets took a hard-fought loss against the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs in their opening round of the Pink and White Tournament in Springfield on Friday 60-82.
Entering their first round in the O’Reilly Student Center at Drury University, Lebanon had a season record of 4-4 and El Dorado Springs 4-3.
Lebanon secured tip off but not the first points of the first period, and El Dorado Springs secured an early lead. Lebanon scorers from this period were #35 Mackenzie Perryman, #32 Lilly Bradbury, #44 Madison Myers and #45 Morgan Durbin. The score at period was 14-27.
While still behind in the second period, the Lady ‘Jackets began to pick up momentum and catch up with the Bulldogs. Lebanon scorers were #3 Faith Coffman, Perryman, #42, Myers and Durbin. The score at halftime stood 36-47.
