Late game heroics lift 'Jackets over Tigers

The Lebanon Yellowjackets had a chance to extend a 61-60 lead at the free throw line with just 13.4 seconds remaining in the game against the Waynesville Tigers. After a miss on the front end of a one-and-one, Waynesville standout Tyrique Brooks drove the length of the floor for a chance at a go-ahead bucket. Brooks met Lebanon (4-14 overall) senior Peyton Mitchell head-on in the lane as Mitchell stood still and took a charge to give LHS possession. For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
