Lebanon baseball beats Parkview

The Lebanon High School baseball team bounced back after a tough loss against Kickapoo last week to defeat the Parkview Vikings (0-11) on Tuesday at Oley Scott Field, 8-2.
After a tough first inning for senior ace John Greenwood on the mound, allowing three base runners and giving up one run, he settled in nicely with a complete game performance that included just two earned runs and 12 strikeouts.
“John had his pitch count get elevated there in the first couple of innings but settled in nicely and found his off-speed stuff,” head coach Dustin Young said after the game. “He was able to get ahead of hitters most of the time after that (first inning), and when he is right, he is tough.
