Lebanon city employees to get pay raise

Posted
Lebanon city employees are getting a pay raise. The Lebanon City Council discussed the decision at a work session Thursday. Mayor Jared Carr said it has been difficult for the city to compete in the currently tight job market. He said 27 employees left the city in 2021 for other jobs “for one reason or another.” “That’s a lot of people to try to replace,” he said. “We’re trying to retain city staff, it’s difficult right now to stay competitive in the current job market.” For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
